Thank You For A Great School Marathon!
The weatherman was sort-of correct! Thursday, October 4th turned into a glorious autumn day for our school Marathon! Our prayer service, led by our 6th graders was just perfect. We cheered and danced and prayed together as a community. Thanks again to Christina Wesley Thrall, Sheila Campolito, Karen Benacci, and the many parents who volunteered to make this event a huge success. Thanks to all; whether you sent in snacks, stood on a corner or walked with our kids. We are grateful for every one of you! Children have received their casual dress passes for selling sponsorship. Thank you children! Thank you also for continuing to be the most generous people I know! Check out our grade level participation rates to-date! Some people haven’t had a chance to send their pledges back in. If your child has not yet return their pledges, please contact the office so we can boost these percentages even higher!. We will have a final total next newsletter!
The Seton Family Breakfast took place on Thursday, October 11th. All will agree that the food was delicious and the company exquisite! Thanks again to Jeanie Compisi and Meg Reiss and their tireless committee for again treating us to an amazing morning. It was wonderful fun! I hope that if you were not able to make it this year, you will try next year. It is worth getting up a bit early.
Our library is alive and well! Parents and grandparents are looking at ways to make it an even better experience for our children. If you would like to come in and lend a hand, please contact your classroom teacher to find out when their library time is scheduled. You can never have too many helpers when it comes to taking out books!
Mark your calendars! Our Fall social will be held on Friday, Nov, 2nd from 6:00-9:00 pm at Midtown. There’s more information included in this Brown envelope!
Sign-up for our next new lunch order cycle began yesterday! Please go to the link that was sent to you and sign up ASAP. It will close on Tuesday, Oct. 23rd.
Please note that lunch monitors are still needed for our lunch program! Sr. Carolyn has done a great job organizing the program but still needs your help! Please call the office, speak with Sr. Carolyn (firstname.lastname@example.org) or visit our sign-up genius to see what is still available or to put your name on a substitute list.
