How time has flown by!
This past month has just flown by! Every day I wonder at the amazing children who come through our doors. I have had many opportunities to spend time with everyone at lunch. It is such a pleasant experience to sit with different groups and get to know them. I thoroughly enjoy your beautiful children! They are bright, fun, engaging, curious and respectful. I am always proud of the way they represent Seton Catholic School. You are raising wonderful young ladies and gentlemen!
If the weatherman is correct, it will be a glorious morning for our Marathon event on Thursday, October 4th! What ever the weather, please dress your children accordingly. If it is lightly raining, we will still walk! Send in rain coats, boots and umbrellas if need be.
Christina Wesley Thrall, Sheila Campolieto and Karen Benacci have done a spectacular job getting everything ready! Thank you ladies. Many parents have volunteered to make this event the success but we still need more corner volunteers. Consider coming to lend a hand.
Our prayer service, put on by our 6th grade, begins in the gym at 8:30. Please know that all are welcome to join us to pray for, and to help us cheer the children on as they walk the Marathon route!
PK Marathon was a big hit this year! They were held yesterday and today during their morning hours! Though it was rainy, they had fun weaving in and out of the upper grade classrooms! Bravo Preschoolers for doing a great job showing school spirit!
After School Activities
Many after school activities have begun. Running Club, Soccer, Chess Club, Fencing, MTKC (Glee Club) and Scouting are all proving to be great successes. Thank you to Dan Sadowski for stepping up to coordinate our CYO Soccer program. Without him, we would not have soccer this year! Spanish Enrichment for K-6 begins on the 23rd of October! Thank you in advance to all our volunteers who make these activities run smoothly
Long Weekend Ahead
Just a reminder: Tomorrow, October 5th is Superintendent’s Day for teachers and staff with no school for students. Also, there is no school on Monday October 8th, for Columbus Day. Enjoy a long weekend with your family.
We are still following our Fall/Spring Dress code. Students may wear their shorts until November 1st. Thank you for helping your children to dress according to our dress code. If you are unsure about what is acceptable, please check our website
Our lunch program began this past Monday. If you missed out on ordering lunch this time, but would like to take-part in the future, please look on-line for ordering information. The new order cycle begins soon. Please note that lunch monitors are still needed for our lunch program! Sr. Carolyn has done a great job organizing the program but still needs your help! Please call the office, speak with Sr. Carolyn (firstname.lastname@example.org) or visit our sign-up genius to see what is still available or to put your name on a substitute list. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0D45ADA72EA1F85-lunch1

Please contact your home parish for more information on First Communion and Reconciliation classes.

This year our Grandparents’ Day has been moved to Friday November 9th at 12:30 in the church. We are looking forward to showing our grandparents how much we love them and showing off our school to them! More information is included in this Brown Envelope with personalized invitations to follow.
OLOL + ST Ann Pet Blessing
Our church cluster will hold their annual pet blessing at St. Anne Church at 11:00 am on Saturday October 6th. This is a great opportunity for the children to bring their favorite pet from home for a blessing and learn more about God’s loving Care for Creation. The ceremony will be brief and there will be a little something for a giveaway. Please consider taking part in this wonderful ceremony
